Gaga Dance & Yoga Retreat
3-day Gaga Dance & Yoga Retreat at Assemblage Arts Residency
May 23 – 25, 2025 | Miellin, France
Join us for a three-day immersive retreat combining Gaga Dance and Yoga, hosted at Assemblage—an artist residency nestled in the heart of the Vosges mountains in eastern France. Surrounded by forest, waterfalls, and fresh mountain air, this retreat invites participants of all levels to reconnect with their bodies through movement and creative exploration.
PROGRAM
The retreat spans three days (23 - 25 May) and includes a total of 9 hours of guided practice:
2 Gaga dance classes
3 Extended yoga sessions
1 Movement lab “Corpo Lucente”
The retreat is led by Nadine Felden, an advanced certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher, and Nunzia Picciallo, a multidisciplinary artist and Gaga dance educator.
Each day will include free time to rest, read, swim in nearby waterfalls, go for hikes or simply enjoy the quiet rhythm of the surrounding nature.
LOCATION
Assemblage is a transdisciplinary artist residency dedicated to open-ended, process-based artistic practices. The house is located in the small village of Miellin (70440) in the Haute-Saône region.
We will help coordinate travel: the nearest train station is Lure, with direct TER trains from Paris Gare de l’Est. A staff member will pick you up and bring you to the house (about 20 minutes drive). Discounted train fares are available.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
You will stay in a shared room (2–4 people max). All linens, towels, and yoga mats are provided. Daily vegetarian meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), snacks, coffee, tea, and water are included. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
PRICE
The full cost of the retreat is €400, all inclusive (excluding the train ticket). If you would like to volunteer to help us cook one meal during the retreat, we offer a discounted volunteer rate of €350.
